Shot List

Creating a shot list is necessary before executing one’s photography or cinematography project; it allows people to physically or digitally plan each shot they plan on taking—from shot type to equipment—to ensure they remember their ideas and are ready for shooting. I created a digital shot list via Studiobinder, which displays 15 shots. More specifically, my shot list involves a photoshoot at my house (my kitchen) and at Sweet Delight Cheesecakes (a local bakery).

Shot List (15 Shots)-

Creating a shot list was a very educational experience as it helped me narrow my ideas for my final photoshoot. I originally wanted my double-page spread to feature three step-by-step recipes on making homemade cheesecake (a standard, vegan, and no-bake recipe) and an interview with a baker from a local bakery. However, this step made me realize I had too many ideas to fit in one double-page spread, and it would be best to focus on less. After creating a shot list, I plan to show a step-by-step recipe for baking a standard cheesecake alongside a vegan and no-bake recipe without images. My idea of interviewing a baker from a local bakery will remain the same.
